Watches and Wonders rafforza il board: annunciati gli ingressi di Chanel, Hermès e Lvmh

La prossima edizione è in programma dall’1 al 7 aprile 2025 a Ginevra. Il nuovo presidente è Cyrille Vigneron

La fondazione Watches and Wonders di Ginevra ha potenziato il proprio board: è stato allargato anche alla partecipazione di Chanel, Hermès e Lvmh. Le tre maison saranno affiancate dal nuovo presidente della fondazione. Dopo due anni al timone dell’organizzazione, Jean-Frédéric Dufour, ceo di Rolex, passa il testimone a Cyrille Vigneron, presidente e ceo di Cartier che per i prossimi due anni svolgerà anche il ruolo di tesoriere. Insieme al vicepresidente Claude Peny, Vigneron definirà le strategie future.

Il primo obiettivo sarà consolidare Watches and Wonders come evento annuale tra i più importanti dell’industria orologiera. Sono state comunicate le date della prossima edizione: dall’1 al 7 aprile 2025.

Nel frattempo dal 28 agosto all’1 settembre è in agenda la quarta edizione Watches and Wonders Shanghai, spin-off della fiera ginevrina. Parteciperanno 8 brand: Cartier, Iwc, A. Lange & Söhne, Panerai, Vacheron Constantin, Baume & Mercier, Roger Dubuis e Nomos Glashütte.

Watches and Wonders strengthens the board: additions of Chanel, Hermès and Lvmh announced

The Watches and Wonders foundation in Geneva has strengthened its board: Chanel, Hermès and Lvmh are now also participating.
The three maisons will be joined by the new president of the foundation. After two years at the helm of the organisation, Jean-Frédéric Dufour, CEO of Rolex, is handing over the baton to Cyrille Vigneron, President and CEO of Cartier, who will also act as treasurer for the next two years. Together with Vice-President Claude Peny, Vigneron will define future strategies.
The first objective will be to consolidate Watches and Wonders as one of the most important annual events in the watch industry. The dates of the next edition have been announced: 1 to 7 April 2025.
Meanwhile, from 28 August to 1 September, the fourth edition of Watches and Wonders Shanghai, a spin-off of the Geneva fair, is on the agenda. Eight brands will participate: Cartier, Iwc, A. Lange & Söhne, Panerai, Vacheron Constantin, Baume & Mercier, Roger Dubuis and Nomos Glashütte.
