Vacheron Constantin e il Museo del Louvre insieme per “un capolavoro al polso”
Nel costante impegno a salvaguardia della cultura e della bellezza in tutte le loro espressioni, Vacheron Constantin e Museo del Louvre rinnovano la partnership, iniziata nel 2019, offrendo ai clienti l’imperdibile occasione di creare un esemplare, ed uno soltanto, di un orologio in oro rosa: “Un capolavoro al polso” che tra le particolarità può vantare la riproduzione sul quadrante su smalto e smalto grisaille della miniatura di un’opera d’arte – La lutte pour l’étendard de la Bataille d’Anghiari di Pierre Paul Rubens – che l’acquirente, guidato dagli esperti del museo, ha scelto durante una visita privata del Cabinet des Dessins, dove si trova il disegno originale.
“Trascrivere un disegno composto da tratti di inchiostro e penna su un quadrante del diametro di 3,3 cm è una vera sfida. Bisogna entrare nell’opera e farla propria, per trovare il giusto livello di
dettaglio e salvaguardare la forza della grafica“, spiega il maestro smaltatore di Vacheron Constantin che ha combinato smalto e smalto grisaille utilizzando circa 20 tonalità di marrone.
Al suo interno custodisce il calibro di Manifattura 2460 SC, la cui massa oscillante reca incisa la facciata Est del Louvre e sul fondello con cerniera il motto “Cerca Trova“, risalente al XVII secolo.
“L’incisione dà un tocco speciale agli orologi di Haute Horlogerie“, ha affermato il maestro incisore.
Il cinturino è in pelle di alligatore Mississippiensis marrone. Il certificato di autenticità per la riproduzione del capolavoro è emesso dal Louvre, il certificato di garanzia è emesso da Vacheron Constantin.

Constantin and the Louvre Museum are renewing their partnership, which began in 2019, offering customers the unmissable opportunity to create one example, and only one, of a rose gold watch: “A Masterpiece on the Wrist,” which among its special features can boast the reproduction on the dial on enamel and enamel grisaille of the miniature of a work of art – La lutte pour l’étendard de la Bataille d’Anghiari by Pierre Paul Rubens – that the buyer, guided by the museum’s experts, chose during a private visit to the Cabinet des Dessins, where the original drawing is located.
“To transcribe a drawing composed of ink and pen strokes onto a dial with a diameter of 3.3 cm is a real challenge. You have to enter the work and make it your own, to find the right level of
detail and safeguard the strength of the graphics,” explains Vacheron Constantin’s master enameler, who combined enamel and grisaille enamel using about 20 shades of brown.
Inside it houses the Manufacture caliber 2460 SC, whose oscillating weight is engraved with the east façade of the Louvre and on the hinged case back the motto “Search Find,” dating back to the 17th century.
“Engraving gives a special touch to Haute Horlogerie watches,” said the master engraver.
The strap is made of brown Mississippiensis alligator leather. The certificate of authenticity for the reproduction of the masterpiece is issued by the Louvre, and the certificate of guarantee is issued by Vacheron Constantin.
