Nuove date per JGTD: la fiera di Dubai è stata posticipata a novembre 2024

Novità nel calendario degli appuntamenti fieristici mondiali: ci sono date diverse per Jewellery, Gem & Technology a Dubai. L’appuntamento, inizialmente in programma a febbraio, è stato posticipato a novembre 2024, dal 12 al 14. Cambia anche la sede della manifestazione B2B: si terrà presso il Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), in 45mila mq di spazi business e sale riunioni.

Perché cambiano le date? “I mercati posizionati entro le sei ore di volo dall’hub commerciale di Dubai possono rifornire tempestivamente l’assortimento in vista delle festività di fine anno e dell’anno seguente”, spiegano gli organizzatori, Informa Markets Jewellery e Italian Exhibition Group. “I gioiellieri avranno l’opportunità di rinnovare la propria offerta in modo più efficiente, soprattutto se il calendario non prevede altri eventi significativi nella regione nello stesso momento”, ha aggiunto il presidente di DGJG Tawhid Abdulla.

Marco Carniello, Global Exhibition Director Jewellery & Fashion di Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), commenta: “I buyer B2B di gioielli e pietre preziose hanno bisogno di ridurre il ciclo di approvvigionamento per soddisfare le esigenze e le preferenze in rapida evoluzione dei loro clienti. Le nuove date della fiera rispondono strategicamente a questa esigenza”. Durante la terza edizione, JGTD presenterà un’ampia varietà di prodotti: collezioni di alta gioielleria, diamanti sciolti, pietre preziose e colorate, componenti e tecnologie per la produzione, fino ai lab grown diamonds. Saranno proposti da circa 400 espositori, espressione di 25 Paesi e regioni del mondo.

I visitatori avranno accesso a sei nuovi padiglioni dedicati a Giappone, Singapore, Spagna, Sri Lanka, Tailandia e Stati Uniti, accanto ad aree espositive già apprezzate e riconfermate come Hong Kong, India, Italia Tra le delegazioni di buyer attese a JGTD, quelle provenienti dal Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) e da diverse regioni dell’Africa.

New dates for JGTD: Dubai trade fair postponed to November 2024

News in the calendar of world trade fairs: there are different dates for Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai. The event, initially scheduled to take place in February, has been postponed to November 2024, from 12 to 14. The venue of the B2B event has also changed: it will be held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), in 45,000 square metres of business space and meeting rooms.
Why are the dates changing? “Markets located within a six-hour flight from Dubai’s trade hub can promptly restock their assortment for the end-of-year and following year festivities,” explain the organisers, Informa Markets Jewellery and Italian Exhibition Group. “Jewellers will have the opportunity to renew their offerings more efficiently, especially if the calendar does not include other significant events in the region at the same time,” added DGJG President Tawhid Abdulla.

The new dates of the fair strategically address this need“. During the third edition, JGTD will present a wide variety of products: fine jewellery collections, loose diamonds, gemstones and coloured stones, production components and technologies, and even lab grown diamonds. They will be offered by some 400 exhibitors, representing 25 countries and regions of the world. Visitors will have access to six new pavilions dedicated to Japan, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand and the United States, next to already popular and reconfirmed exhibition areas such as Hong Kong, India, Italy Among the buyer delegations expected at JGTD are those from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and several regions of Africa.
