Dalla nascita della terra ai primi segni di vita, un percorso immaginario reso reale da pietre preziose che il savoir-faire dei Maître Joaillier della Louis Vuitton hanno incastonato nei 170 pezzi unici della nuova collezione Deep Time, la quinta e la più grande collezione di alta gioielleria della Maison disegnata da Francesca Amfitheatrof, Direttrice Artistica Gioielli e Orologi.

Gioielli meravigliosi e versatili: molti sono stati ideati per essere indossati in modi diversi segcondo l’orientamento alla trasformazione che Amfitheatrof sta portando avanti. L’iconica V ritorna discreto segno distintivo.
“Da Louis Vuitton abbiamo amato da sempre l’avventura, alle prese con viaggi verso luoghi straordinari, inattesi. Deep Time condurrà nel passato più lontano, in un tempo e luogo così remoto che risulta difficile persino da comprendere. Eppure le pietre, tesori che si formano modificandosi nell’arco di molti millenni, ci condurrano proprio là, agli albori del pianeta e della storia del mondo, al nostro simbolico patrimonio geologico.” Ha affermato la Amfitheatrof

È suddivisa in due atti, geologia e vita, e 16 temi, 13 dei quali saranno presentati al lancio della collezione.

“Abbiamo questa straordinaria ambizione di trovare le pietre più incantevoli, tutte legate a un tema in Deep Time, che si siano formate dalla lava, che provengano da diversi continenti o che simboleggino un’idea. Deep Time è la celebrazione del passato, nonché la magnificenza della natura e l’incredibile caducità della vita.” Ha ancora spiegato la Direttrice Artistica Gioielli e Orologi.

From the birth of the earth to the first signs of life, an imaginary journey made real by gemstones that the savoir-faire of Louis Vuitton’s masters have set into the 170 unique pieces of the new Deep Time collection, the Maison’s fifth and largest collection of high jewelry designed by Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director Jewelry and Watches.

Wonderful and versatile jewelry: many are designed to be worn in different ways segcording to the transformation orientation that Amfitheatrof is pursuing. The iconic V returns discreetly as a hallmark.

Deep Time will lead into the farthest past, to a time and place so remote that it is difficult even to comprehend. It is divided into two acts, geology and life, and 16 themes, 13 of which will be presented at the launch of the collection.

“We have this extraordinary ambition to find the most enchanting stones, all related to a theme in Deep Time, whether they were formed from lava, come from different continents or symbolize an idea.
