Lidia Lucchese: “I Gioielli del Rais” e “Hypnotic”
Due collezioni tra mare e terra

Si spinge nelle acque del Mediterraneo alla ricerca delle antiche tradizioni della sua terra, la Sicilia, come quella dei tonnaroti e del loro Capitano, il Rais, vocabolo di origini arabe da cui prende nome la nuova collezione che con forme fluide celebra il protagonista delle sue gesta, il tonno: “i Gioielli del Rais”.
L’ha disegnata modellando argento brunito e oro tappezzati di spinelli blu, il colore del mare (la finitura in smalto a freddo ne esalta il design e conferisce ai gioielli lucentezza e resistenza). Ciondoli agender e gemelli da uomo dall’eleganza discreta eppure intensa e carica di vitalità.
Di tutt’altro stile è la collezione “Hypnotic” (insieme alla precedente saranno a VicenzaOro) che della trasparenza del cristallo di rocca fa il suo segno distintivo. Lo presenta rotondo e sfaccettato negli orecchini come nell’anello, a forma di cuore, invece, nel pendente dove ad incastonarlo non sono griffe bensì un filo di oro che lo abbraccia dolcemente per non comprometterne la limpidezza.
E in ogni gioiello gli accosta un granato (nella collana sono due) perché diffonda il suo intenso rosso. La collezione Hypnotic, edizione limitata, è tesa a scoprire accostamenti inconsueti celebrando la purezza del quarzo ialino e il potere ammaliante dei suoi riflessi.

Two collections between sea and land
She ventures into the waters of the Mediterranean in search of the ancient traditions of her land, Sicily, such as that of the tuna fishermen and their captain, the Rais, a word of Arabic origin from which the new collection takes its name, which with fluid forms celebrates the protagonist of his exploits, the tuna fish: “The Jewels of the Rais.” He designed it by fashioning burnished silver or gold carpeted with blue spinels, the color of the sea (the cold enamel finish enhances the design and gives the jewelry luster and strength). Agender pendants and men’s cufflinks with a sober but intense elegance and full of vitality..
Of a completely different style is the “Hypnotic” collection, which makes the transparency of rock crystal its hallmark. It presents it round and faceted in the earrings as well as in the ring, heart-shaped, on the other hand, in the pendant where it is not set with griffes but with a thread of gold that gently embraces it so as not to compromise its clarity. And in each jewel he places a garnet next to it so that it spreads its intense red. The limited-edition Hypnotic collection strives to discover unusual combinations by celebrating the purity of hyaline quartz and the bewitching power of its reflections.
