Attilio Gelpi con sua moglie Barbara, fondatori di Maison J’OR, cooperati dai figli Filippo e Lorenzo (responsabile progettazione sviluppo prodotto e responsabile vendite), hanno dimostrato che i gioielli sono quello che sanno fare scartando l’ovvio a favore di una riflessione profonda, intima e costante sul design. Offrendo altre possibilità alla bellezza, lo hanno avvalorato anche con la nuova collezione di Alta Gioielleria “Harem”, che diventa ponte tra culture diverse reinterpretando i temi geometrici dell’architettura araba.
Protagoniste sono le pietre, nello specifico cabochon di fuoco vivo – rubellite -, e di un denso blu abissale – tanzanite -, abbracciate da pattern di madreperla o di turchese, che file di diamanti mutano in losanghe impreziosendone i profili. Protagonists are stones, specifically cabochons of bright fire – rubellite -, and dense abyssal blue – tanzanite -, embraced by patterns of mother-of-pearl or turquoise, which rows of diamonds mutate into lozenges embellishing their profiles. More to contemplate than to explain is the craftsmanship that also made possible the changing play of light in the pendant earrings.
