IEG, OROAREZZO – la luce il tema del concorso Première che tra le novità presenta “TALENTS”

La 32esima edizione del concorso Première – con cui Oroarezzo2023, manifestazione di Italian Exhibition Group ad Arezzo Fiere e Congressi dal 13 al 16 maggio, celebra l’eccellenza produttiva e creativa Made in Italy – avrà come tema la luce, che i partecipanti dovranno racchiudere in un gioiello realizzato senza porre alcun limite alla creatività.

A valutare i lavori, così come le proposte dei Talents (novità di quest’anno) una giuria di operatori del settore, giornalisti, opinion leader della moda, blogger ed esperti di stile, presieduta da Beppe Angiolini – presidente onorario della Camera Nazionale Buyer della Moda e ambassador di Oroarezzo – che ha invitato i partecipanti ad esprimere il proprio talento sottolineando che è “Un tema quanto più affascinante e libero possibile quello della LUCE. Abbiamo a disposizione materiali di tutti i generi, dai tradizionali oro, argento e pietre preziose a inesplorate invenzioni di nuovi prodotti e design straordinari. Proviamo a sorprendere e sorprenderci“.

I lavori in gara saranno in mostra a Oroarezzo accanto ai preziosi delle aziende espositrici ed ai progetti della nuova categoria Talents, aperta a giovani studenti. Infatti, per la prima volta la Première accoglie i progetti degli studenti delle scuole orafe. Il concorso si rinnova, dunque, offrendo ai creativi più meritevoli la possibilità di veder realizzata la propria idea grazie alla collaborazione di realtà manifatturiere partner del distretto aretino, ovvero, sostenere i nuovi talenti, promuovendo il contatto diretto con le aziende e l’incontro domanda-offerta per i giovani che intendono intraprendere un percorso lavorativo nel settore orafo (secondo le rilevazioni di Confindustria Federorafi, la richiesta di nuovi occupati e di occupati per ricambio generazionale nei prossimi cinque anni si avvicina all’8/10% del totale dell’attuale forza lavoro).

C’è tempo fino al 21 aprile per le candidature dei pezzi in concorso, che saranno esposti per l’intera durata della manifestazione aretina. La premiazione si terrà domenica 14 maggio nella sede dello showroom Sugar di Arezzo

The 32nd edition of the Première competition – with which Oroarezzo2023, an Italian Exhibition Group event at Arezzo Fiere e Congressi from May 13 to 16, celebrates Made in Italy production and creative excellence – will have light as its theme, which participants will have to enclose in a piece of jewelry made without setting any limits on creativity. Evaluating the works, as well as the proposals of the Talents (new this year) will be a jury of industry professionals, journalists, fashion opinion leaders, bloggers and style experts, chaired by Beppe Angiolini – honorary president of the National Chamber of Fashion Buyers and ambassador of Oroarezzo – who invited the participants to express their talent, stressing that it is “A theme as fascinating and free as possible that of LIGHT. We have at our disposal materials of all kinds, from traditional gold, silver and precious stones to unexplored inventions of new products and extraordinary designs. Let’s try to surprise and amaze ourselves.”

The competing works will be on display at Oroarezzo alongside the exhibiting companies’ precious stones and projects from the new Talents category, open to young students. In fact, for the first time Première welcomes projects by students from goldsmithing schools. The competition is renewed, therefore, offering the most deserving creatives the chance to see their idea realized thanks to the collaboration of partner manufacturing realities of the Arezzo district, that is, supporting new talents, promoting direct contact with companies and matching supply-demand for young people who intend to embark on a career path in the gold sector (according to Confindustria Federorafi surveys, the demand for new employees and those employed for generational turnover in the next five years is approaching 8/10% of the total current workforce).

There is time until April 21 for submissions of competing pieces, which will be on display throughout the Arezzo event. The awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 14, at the Sugar showroom in Arezzo
