La forma lineare come spazio di mutazioni e variazioni
Un bambino definì il disegno un’idea con una linea intorno, una descrizione acutissima che la semplicità stilistica degli “Orogatti”, firmati SJF Company, sembra avvalorare. Maria Pia ed Eva, le ideatrici del brand, si muovono con misura lavorando di sottrazione, ma quanto mai dettagliata, con dentro tutto già presente: raffinatezza, preziosità e una fortissima identità. Flettendo, curvando e piegando il segno grafico del pendente (interamente fatto a mano in oro bianco, giallo o rosa con incastonati diamanti in dégradé e altre gemme singole) si sgretola acquisendo il volume di una scultura moderna, quella avvolgente di un anello, la cui eleganza sembrerebbe non poter essere espressa in altro modo.
Il razionalismo decorativo della silhouette del gatto – soggetto che gode di una rara immunità alle mode perché ha in sé più significati: mistero, libertà, fortuna, bellezza, sensualità… -, diventa così un’esperienza tridimensionale, ma anche una riflessione sui mutamenti e sulle variazioni: metafora della volontà e della forza di reinventarsi, propria di noi umani.

A child called the design an idea with a line around it, an acute description that the stylistic simplicity of the ‘Orogatti’, signed SJF Company, seems to confirm. Maria Pia and Eva, the creators of the brand, move with measure, working by subtraction, but in great detail, with everything already there: refinement, preciousness and a very strong identity. By bending, curving and folding, the graphic sign of the pendant (entirely handmade in white, yellow or pink gold set with dégradé diamonds and other single gems) crumbles, acquiring the volume of a modern sculpture, the enveloping one of a ring, whose elegance seems to be unable to be expressed in any other way.
The decorative rationalism of the cat’s silhouette – a subject that enjoys a rare immunity to fashions because it has multiple meanings: mystery, freedom, luck, beauty, sensuality… – thus becomes a three-dimensional experience, but also a reflection on changes and variations: a metaphor for the will and strength to reinvent ourselves, which is typical of us humans.
