Gem Genéve raduno dei creativi: ospiti 5 talenti emergenti e 4 nuovi designer
Cinque talenti emergenti e quattro nuovi designer, selezionati da Nadège Totah, esporranno le loro creazioni all’interno del Village des Designers, lo spazio che il salone GemGenève (Palexpo – Le Grand-Saconnex, 2-5 novembre) dedica alle idee innovative ed ai giovani artisti. I designer invitati si distinguono per stile e tecnica ma li accomuna il messaggio che trasmettono attraverso il gioiello creato, il significato che danno alla pietra preziosa e il ruolo che le attribuiscono, non solo ornamentale.
Cinque i Talenti Emergenti, ecco i loro nomi: Capucine H, Celeste Wu, Villa Milano, Shavarsh Hakobian, YOURA Jewelry.
Capucine H
Capucine H è una gioielliera e designer francese sensibile alle tematiche ambientali. Ha costruito il suo marchio su due pilastri: il rispetto delle risorse e il corretto equilibrio uomo-natura.
Celeste W
Celeste Wu, di origine cinese, vuole trasmettere gioia e felicità attraverso i suoi gioielli e spinge le persone a sognare, trovando la luce in ogni situazione della vita. In anteprima mondiale a GemGenève, presenterà “Moon Fairy & Rose”, eccezionale opera di alta gioielleria.
Alice Villa
Alice Villa è oggi la proprietaria e forza creativa di Villa Milano, rappresentante della quinta generazione dell’omonima gioielleria di famiglia. Lo stile sofisticato, la maestria artigianale, qualità, unicità e innovazione hanno permesso di realizzare collezioni caratterizzate da un linguaggio stilistico distintivo, riconoscibile in ambito nazionale e internazionale.
Shavarsh Hakobian
Shavarsh Hakobian è un designer di gioielli di Erevan, Armenia. Sperimenta da sempre materiali non convenzionali come legno, pelle, tessuti, zanne, ali di farfalla. L’artista li abbina poi a metalli preziosi ed a pietre preziose. Presta grande attenzione anche alla scultura in cera, tecnica che gli consente la massima espressione artistica.
Youra Jewelry
YOURA Jewelry è un marchio di alta gioielleria con sede a Riyad, in Arabia Saudita, il cui nome si ispira all’espressione araba “essere visto”. Rabaa Saleh Alangari ha iniziato il suo percorso grazie alla sua grande passione per i diamanti, la pittura, i colori e la creatività. L’azienda si ispira alla bellezza in tutte le sue forme e origini.
Ecco i nomi dei quattro designer ospitati. JMG Designer, lke Berr Créations, Diva Jewels, Serendipity Jewelry.
JMG Designer
JMG Designer, Thailandia, è rappresentata da José María Goñi, designer di alta gioielleria franco-cileno. Fa della passione per i gioielli una “questione di famiglia”: sua nonna possedeva una straordinaria collezione di gioielli di provenienza europea e il nonno era proprietario di miniere d’oro. José María Goñi crea opere raffinate e complesse.
Elke Berr Créations
Elke Berr Créations, Svizzera, ci rimanda all’instancabile ricercatrice svizzera Elke Berr, che esplora le miniere di tutto il mondo sin da quando aveva 24 anni. Gemmologa, designer e formatrice, ha lanciato nel 2003 la sua linea di pezzi di alta gioielleria e di creazioni su misura Rock’n Roses, destinata a una clientela di nicchia.
Diva Jewels
Diva Jewels di Rishi Mukesh Mehta è il manifesto dell’innovazione e della creatività. L’artista, infatti, vuole ridefinire l’arte dell’ornamento e si propone di abbattere gli schemi della gioielleria tradizionale. Tutte le creazioni – pezzi unici – sono minuziosamente realizzate a mano con diamanti taglio brillante e pietre rare. La collezione “Dance of Brilliance” sarà presentata al salone GemGenève: propone gioielli dalla bellezza mozzafiato con diamanti accuratamente selezionati e pietre preziose.
Serendipity Jewelry
Serendipity Jewelry, già presente all’edizione di novembre 2022 nello spazio Talenti Emergenti, si è unita ai Nuovi Designer nel mese di maggio per farvi ritorno a novembre 2023. L’ha fondata Christine Chan a Parigi, nel 2017. L’artista ha scoperto la sua passione per le pietre durante un viaggio in Australia, dieci anni fa. La sua collezione di pezzi coniuga rispetto nei confronti della natura, della libertà e di sé stessi.
The creative gathering: 5 emerging talents and 4 new designers will be guests of GemGenéve
Five emerging talents and four new designers, selected by Nadège Totah, will exhibit their creations in the Village des Designers, the space that the GemGenève show (Palexpo – Le Grand-Saconnex, 2-5 November) dedicates to innovative ideas and young artists. The invited designers differ in style and technique, but what unites them is the message they convey through the jewellery they create, the meaning they give to the gemstone and the role they attribute to it, which is not only ornamental.
Five Emerging Talents, here are their names: Capucine H, Celeste Wu, Villa Milano, Shavarsh Hakobian, YOURA Jewelry.
Capucine H is a French jeweller and designer sensitive to environmental issues. She has built her brand on two pillars: respect for resources and the correct balance between man and nature.
Celeste Wu, of Chinese origin, wants to transmit joy and happiness through her jewellery and urges people to dream, finding light in every situation in life. In a world premiere at GemGenève, she will present ‘Moon Fairy & Rose’, the exceptional piece of high jewellery.
Alice Villa is now the owner and creative force behind Villa Milano, representing the fifth generation of the family jewellery business of the same name. Sophisticated style, craftsmanship, quality, uniqueness and innovation have made it possible to create collections characterised by a distinctive stylistic language, recognisable both nationally and internationally.
Shavarsh Hakobian is a jewellery designer from Yerevan, Armenia. He has always experimented with unconventional materials such as wood, leather, textiles, tusks, butterfly wings. The artist then combines them with precious metals and gemstones. He also pays great attention to wax sculpture, a technique that allows him maximum artistic expression.
YOURA Jewelry is a high jewellery brand based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, whose name is inspired by the Arabic expression ‘to be seen’. Rabaa Saleh Alangari began her journey thanks to her great passion for diamonds, painting, colours and creativity. The company is inspired by beauty in all its forms and origins.

JMG Designer, Thailand, is represented by José María Goñi, a Franco-Chilean high jewellery designer. He makes his passion for jewellery a ‘family affair’: his grandmother owned an extraordinary collection of European jewellery and his grandfather was a gold mine owner. José María Goñi creates refined and complex works.
Elke Berr Créations, Switzerland, refers us to the tireless Swiss researcher Elke Berr, who has been exploring mines around the world since she was 24 years old. A gemologist, designer and trainer, she launched her line of high jewellery pieces and custom-made Rock’n Roses creations for a niche clientele in 2003.
Diva Jewels by Rishi Mukesh Mehta is the manifesto of innovation and creativity. The artist, in fact, wants to redefine the art of ornamentation and aims to break the mould of traditional jewellery. All the creations – unique pieces – are meticulously handmade with brilliant-cut diamonds and rare stones. The ‘Dance of Brilliance’ collection will be presented at GemGenève: it offers breathtakingly beautiful jewellery with carefully selected diamonds and precious stones.
Serendipity Jewelry, already present at the November 2022 edition in the Emerging Talents space, joined the New Designers in May to return in November 2023. It was founded by Christine Chan in Paris in 2017. The artist discovered her passion for stones during a trip to Australia ten years ago. Her collection of pieces combines respect for nature, freedom and self.
