La Watch & Jewellery Initiative dà il benvenuto ai sette nuovi membri che – insieme a quelli già attuali e i copresidenti del Consiglio, Cyrille Vigneron e Marie Claire Daveu – guideranno la WJI 2030 e garantiranno la costante integrità del loro modo di operare. “Ci sentiamo molto privilegiati ad avere un Consiglio di Amministrazione così stimato e che assume questo ruolo in un momento così eccitante per l’industria globale dell’orologeria e della gioielleria – le esigenze dei consumatori, dei dipendenti, delle autorità di regolamentazione e degli altri stakeholder stanno cambiando rapidamente. C’è da ricordare che sin dagli albori la WJI ha operato per ottenere un robusto quadro di governance. Le nuove nomine rappresentano il risultato di una rigorosa consultazione multi-stakeholder con i membri, i non membri, la società civile, il mondo accademico, le istituzioni finanziarie, i responsabili politici e vari stakeholder chiave del settore e non. Così tra i setti nuovi partecipanti al Consiglio di amministrazione rientrano Anino Emuwa, amministratore delegato di Avandis Consulting e fondatrice di 100 Women @ Davos; Georg Kell, presidente di Arabesque e fondatore del Patto globale delle Nazioni Unite; Raj Mehta, Direttore, Rosy Blue NV; Licia Mattioli, CEO, Mattioli SpA; Frédéric Grangié, Presidente di CHANEL Orologi e Gioielleria; Bernadette Pinet-Cuoq, Presidente esecutivo, UFBJOP e il dottor Gaetano Cavalieri, Presidente, CIBJO.

The Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030 appoints new industry and independent Board Members
The Watch & Jewellery Initiative is pleased to welcome the seven new members who-along with existing members and Board Co-Chairs Cyrille Vigneron and Marie Claire Daveu-will lead WJI 2030 and ensure the continued integrity of the way they operate. “We feel very privileged to have such an esteemed Board of Directors taking on this role at such an exciting time for the global watch and jewelry industry-the needs of consumers, employees, regulators and other stakeholders are changing rapidly. We have an enormous responsibility and opportunity to act in an impactful and innovative way that benefits all stakeholders in the industry and society at large,” is the comment shared by Cyrille Vigneron, President and CEO of Cartier SA, and Marie-Claire Daveu, Chief Sustainability & Institutional Affairs Officer of Kering.
It should be remembered that since its inception, WJI has worked to achieve a robust governance framework. The new appointments represent the result of rigorous multi-stakeholder consultation with members, non-members, civil society, academia, financial institutions, policymakers, and various key industry and nonindustry stakeholders. Thus among the seven new board participants are Anino Emuwa, CEO of Avandis Consulting and founder of 100 Women @ Davos; Georg Kell, president of Arabesque and founder of the United Nations Global Compact; Raj Mehta, Director, Rosy Blue NV; Licia Mattioli, CEO, Mattioli SpA; Frédéric Grangié, President, CHANEL Watches and Jewelry; Bernadette Pinet-Cuoq, Executive Chair, UFBJOP; and Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri, President, CIBJO.
