Exaequo Melting Watch nel tempo fluido del Surrealismo

Per il centenario del movimento d’avanguardia, nei suoi nuovi segnatempo la mollezza disegnata da Dalì

Quest’anno cade il centenario del Surrealismo e proprio a questo movimento d’avanguardia Exaequo si lascia ispirare riportando nei suoi segnatempo la mollezza, il tempo liquido degli stravaganti orologi immaginati da Salvador Dalì. La forma ovale e asimmetrica dell’Exaequo Melting Watch, appiattita nella parte centrale, con una lunghezza di circa 47 mm e una larghezza massima di circa 28 mm, ha corona arrotondata sul lato destro per una facile regolazione dell’ora.

Il quadrante a due livelli, protetto da un vetro plastico bombato, è disponibile in cinque tonalità: blu, nero, bianco, verde e oro, e nella versione con cassa in acciaio 316L satinato e con trattamento PVD oro.

Il fondello, personalizzabile, è fissato da quattro viti che assicurano l’impermeabilità fino a 30 metri, oltre alla possibilità di sostituire la batteria e, se necessario, l’intero movimento elettromeccanico Ronda 751. Il cinturino è in pelle liscia per la versione in acciaio e in stampa coccodrillo per la versione dorata, con cuciture tono su tono e fibbie ad ardiglione.

Exaequo Melting Watch in the fluid time of Surrealism on the occasion of the centenary of the avant-garde movement

In its new timepieces, the softness drawn by Dali

This year marks the centenary of Surrealism, and it is to this avant-garde movement that Exaequo draws inspiration by bringing back into its timepieces the springiness, the liquid time of the extravagant watches imagined by Salvador Dali. The oval, asymmetrical shape of the Exaequo Melting Watch, flattened in the middle, with a length of about 47 mm and a maximum width of about 28 mm, has a rounded crown on the right side for easy time setting. The two-tiered dial, protected by a domed plastic crystal, is available in five shades: blue, black, white, green and gold, and in a satin-finished 316L steel case with gold PVD treatment. The case back, which can be customized, is secured by four screws that ensure water resistance to 30 meters, as well as the possibility of replacing the battery and, if necessary, the entire Ronda 751 electromechanical movement. The strap is smooth leather for the steel version and crocodile print for the gold version, with tone-on-tone stitching and pin buckles.
