Dove va l’alta gioielleria?

Questione di volumi o di equilibri?

Mi è stato spiegato che non serve alzare la voce, ma è innegabile che uno stile, qualunque esso sia, è uno show e che in quanto tale può anche essere eccessivo. E così eccessivo diventa un jeans, un blazer, una shopper,… Ma questa è moda, un binario parallelo sul quale non dovrebbe deragliare la gioielleria né mai l’alta gioielleria, che non può essere passeggera. Va da sé che ora da vezzo si fa strumento di appartenenza, di autenticità, urgenza di riconoscimento. Su accenti che non stanno al posto solito, rapper e trapper vomitano la sregolatezza di una società discriminante che non gode di buona salute esibendo uno strano contrasto preziosità/rabbia.

Sono vissuta nella vecchia musica e a questa provocazione azzardo una debole considerazione: è difendibile se per stare dalla parte degli ultimi si fa leva sulla violenza? È lodevole la dismisura? Un ben strano segnale tenendo conto che l’haute couture e l’haute jewellery ci hanno insegnato che i loro punti di forza sono l’eleganza, l’equilibrio, la misura, l’armonia, adesso in pericolo tra vortici di volumi esagerati e infinità di carati che si sparigliano su bling bling, tooth gems, grillz e catenoni accompagnati dagli effetti dell’autotune. Tout court? Niente affatto. È sperimentazioni, certo, anche, ma diamanti e pietre preziose non possono essere (solo) spettacolo di potere, devono continuare a lasciare senza fiato per esclusività e grazia, perché la vera bellezza è eterna. A very strange signal bearing in mind that haute couture and haute jewelry have taught us that their strong point is elegance, now lost among exaggerated volumes and endless carats that scatter on bling bling, tooth gems and grillz accompanied by autotune effects. Tout court? Not at all.
