Alla Between The Twigs la mostra “TRAUMA | ARTE | SOGNO” dell’artista-artigiano ucraino Anton Sokolov

Dal 24 febbraio 2022, terzo anniversario dell’invasione russa dell’Ucraina

Una esposizione, intitolata TRAUMA | ARTE | SOGNO, porta il dramma ucraino a Milano sottoforma di gioielli, realizzati con bossoli di proiettili, frammenti di missili, ottone, vetri e argento raccolti per le strade, durante il conflitto, dall’artista-artigiano Anton Sokolov con l’intento di realizzare gioielli, anelli, ciondoli, spille e bracciali che raccontano del dolore, ma anche della speranza di un cambiamento possibile.

Oggi Anton vive a Berlino, dove ha dato vita al suo marchio TRAUMAR (acronimo delle parole tedesche Trauma, Art e Traum, ovvero Sogno) con cui firma pezzi unici. Per la passione per i gioielli ereditata dal padre orafo non ha convalidato la sua laurea in odontoiatria scegliendo di dedicare le sue energie allo studio dell’arte dell’oreficeria – durante l’edizione della Milano Jewellery Week 2024 ha ricevuto, dalla sezione Orafi della Confederazione Nazionale Italiana dell’Artigianato, il premio di Best Jewellery Art and Craft.

Dal 24 febbraio 2025 presso la galleria dell’orafa Silvia Bianchi, Between The Twigs, in Via Santa Sofia, presenterà le sue creazioni che raccontano la sua storia, le sue paure, le separazioni e le conquiste che oggi gli fanno dire “Sono ancora in piedi e nient’altro conta!”, nonostante sia rimasto gravemente ferito in un attacco missilistico nel centro di Kharkiv non molto dopo aver posato Nastya (le foto del matrimonio dei due medici sulle rovine di Kharkiv fecero il giro del mondo).

At Between The Twigs the exhibition TRAUMA | ART | DREAM by Ukrainian artist-craftsman Anton Sokolov

From Feb. 24, 2022, the third anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

An exhibition, titled TRAUMA | ART | DREAM, brings the Ukrainian drama to Milan in the form of jewelry, made from bullet casings, missile fragments, brass, glass, and silver collected from the streets during the conflict by artist-craftsman Anton Sokolov with the intention of making jewelry, rings, pendants, brooches, and bracelets that tell of pain and resentment, but also of hope for possible change.

Today Anton lives in Berlin, where he started his brand TRAUMAR (an acronym for the German words TRAUMA, ART and TRAUM, meaning DREAM) under which he signs unique pieces. Because of her passion for jewelry inherited from her goldsmith father, she did not validate her degree in dentistry, choosing to devote her energies to studying the art of goldsmithing – during the Milan Jewellery Week 2024 edition, received the Best Jewellery Art and Craft award from the Goldsmiths section of the Italian National Confederation of Craftsmanship.

From Feb. 24, 2025, at goldsmith Silvia Bianchi’s gallery, Between The Twigs, on Via Santa Sofia, he will present his creations that tell his story, his fears, separations, and achievements that today make him say, “I’m still standing and nothing else matters!” despite the fact that he was severely injured in a missile attack in downtown Kharkiv not long after he posed Nastya (photos of the two doctors’ wedding in the ruins of Kharkiv went around the world).
