Finely worked in silver by Quaglia the symbol for the project Science for Peace – Fondazione Umberto Veronesi

On the occasion of the Conference scheduled in Milano on November 18 and 19, 2011, in the frame of the project “Science for Peace” / Fondazione Umberto Veronesi, the new symbol – adopted last year as a result of a contest organized by the Fondazione and open to Italian secondary school students – has been reproduced in silver by Quaglia’s goldsmith-masters in a limited edition of pins and pendants as commemorative present for panelists.

The jewellery brand based in Milano thus confirms its support to the projects of Fondazione Umberto Veronesi begun last Spring with the creation of “Infinity” silver rings collection which revenues are partly allocated for study grants for medicine doctors and researchers. This year international Conference is the third one of the worldwide project for peace and disarmament promoted by Fondazione Umberto Veronesi: nine sessions during the two day meeting where Nobel Prize awarded scientists and culture V.I.P. discuss about possibile solutions to bring about peace politics and to reduce military expenses pro investments in research.
