Wyler Vetta, i nuovi Jumbostar nella versione cronografo e solotempo
La celebrazione del 100esimo anniversario del brand è l’occasione per presentare un restyling dell’iconico modello
I nuovi orologi che rendono omaggio al design del Jumbostar solotempo, cronografo del 1968, sono dotati della più contemporanea tecnologia attraverso il calibro automatico La Joux-Perret G100.
La collezione Swiss Made si propone con casse di acciaio satinato di 40 mm di diametro e di 10,9 mm di spessore con fondello a vite e logo Wyler Vetta inciso. A ore 10 la tipica seconda corona che regola il rehaut girevole a scatto unidirezionale.
I quadranti (tutti connotati a ore 12 dal logo WYLER VETTA e a ore 6 dal logo JUMBOSTAR e la scritta automatic) sono proposti in nero, blu, verde e ruggine sui quali spiccano lancette di ore e minuti luminescenti, e quelle dei secondi di colore rosso – che nella versione con quadrante color ruggine è di colore acciaio. Le ore sono scandite da indici lineari luminescenti. La data è ore 6.
8 le referenze, 4 con bracciale d’acciaio a sette maglie, le due centrali lucide, dotato di sistema a sgancio rapido per l’intercambiabilità e chiusura déployante, e 4 con cinturino in pelle Made in Italy con fibbia ad ardiglione e sistema di sgancio rapido abbinati nei colori, marrone intenso con impunture écru (quadrante nero), cuoio chiaro con impunture écru (quadrante verde), blu con impunture écru (quadrante blu) e marrone scuro con impunture écru (quadrante color ruggine).

CRONOGRAFO AUTOMATICO
Riedizione anche per l’iconico Jumbostar ispirato al modello del cronografo lanciato nel 1968 di cui mantiene numerose caratteristiche stilistiche.
La collezione Jumbostar valorizzando la propria storia riprende le linee e le peculiarità dei modelli degli anni Sessanta. I segnatempo sono disponibili in 2 versioni – bracciale e cinturino – e quattro colori per un totale di 8 referenze.
Il fascino “vintage” dei nuovi cronografi Swiss Made Jumbostar si esprime attraverso la cassa d’acciaio con finitura satinata con corona a vite ore 3 e pulsanti start e stop e reset a ore 2 e 4 oltre alla tipica seconda corona – anch’essa a vite – a ore 10 che regola il rehaut girevole a scatto unidirezionale con scala dei minuti.
I quadranti sono in quattro colorazioni, blu, nero, verde e color ruggine, con la tipica costruzione su due livelli: livello inferiore, nell’inconfondibile color crema, ospita tacche rosse collocate in corrispondenza delle 12 ore scandite da indici corposi evidenziati da materiale luminescente. Alle lancette centrali di ore e minuti con materiale luminescente si accosta la lancetta dei secondi in rosso – la versione con quadrante color ruggine monta la sfera dei secondi color acciaio. A ore 12 il logo WYLER VETTA e a ore 6 il logo JUMBOSTAR e la scritta automatic.
I due contatori crono, collocati a ore 3 e ore 9, indicano rispettivamente secondi e minuti. I quadranti sono serrati da un vetro zaffiro bombato antiriflesso in perfetto stile Sixties.
Sono proposti con bracciale in acciaio satinato con maglie a grana di riso, con le due maglie centrali lucide – con sgancio rapido che permette l’intercambiabilità – e chiusura deployante; e nella versione con cinturino in pelle Made in Italy anticata – con fibbia ad ardiglione e sgancio rapido – in colori abbinati ai quadranti: quadrante nero cinturino in pelle color cuoio scuro e impunture écru; quadrante blu con cinturino pelle blu navy con impunture écru, quadrante verde con cinturino di cuoio chiaro e impunture écru, quadrante color ruggine con cinturino in pelle color cuoio scuro con impunture écru.

Wyler Vetta, the new Jumbostars in chronograph and time-only versions
The celebration of the brand’s 100th anniversary is an opportunity to present a restyling of the iconic model
The new watches that pay homage to the design of the Jumbostar solotempo, a 1968 chronograph, are equipped with the most contemporary technology through the La Joux-Perret G100 automatic caliber.
The new Swiss Made collection comes in satin-finished steel cases 40 mm in diameter and 10.9 mm thick with a screw-down case back and engraved Wyler Vetta logo. At 10 o’clock is the typical second crown that adjusts the unidirectional rotating snapping flange.
The dials (all distinguished at 12 o’clock by the WYLER VETTA logo and at 6 o’clock by the JUMBOSTAR logo and the automatic inscription) are offered in black, blue, green and rust on which stand out luminescent hour and minute hands, and red seconds hands-which in the rust-colored dial version are steel-colored. The hours are marked by linear luminescent hour markers. The date is 6 o’clock.
The collection consists of 8 references, 4 with a seven-link steel bracelet, the central two polished, equipped with a quick-release system for interchangeability and a folding clasp, and 4 with a Made-in-Italy leather strap with a pin buckle and quick-release system matched in colors, deep brown with écru stitching (black dial), light leather with écru stitching (green dial), blue with écru stitching (blue dial), and dark brown with écru stitching (rust-colored dial).

AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
Reissue also for the iconic Jumbostar inspired by the chronograph model launched in 1968 of which it retains many stylistic features.
The Jumbostar collection enhancing its history takes up the lines and peculiarities of the 1960s models. The timepieces are available in 2 versions – bracelet and strap – and four colors for a total of 8 references.
The “vintage” appeal of the new Swiss Made Jumbostar chronographs is expressed through the satin-finished steel case with a screw-down crown at 3 o’clock and start and stop and reset pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock in addition to the typical second crown – also screw-down – at 10 o’clock that regulates the unidirectional rotating snap-in flange with minute scale.
The dials come in four colors, blue, black, green and rust-colored, with the typical two-tier construction: lower level, in the unmistakable cream color, houses red notches placed at the 12-hour markers punctuated by bold indexes highlighted by luminescent material. The central hour and minute hands with luminescent material are juxtaposed with a red seconds hand – the version with a rust-colored dial mounts a steel-colored seconds ball. At 12 o’clock is the WYLER VETTA logo, and at 6 o’clock is the JUMBOSTAR logo and automatic.
The two chrono counters, located at 3 and 9 o’clock, indicate seconds and minutes, respectively. The dials are clamped by a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal in perfect Sixties style.
The Jumbostar chronographs are offered with a satin-finished steel bracelet with rice-grain links, with the two polished central links – with quick release allowing interchangeability – and deployant clasp; and a version with an antiqued Made in Italy leather strap – with a pin buckle and quick release – in colors matching the dials: black dial with dark leather strap and écru stitching; blue dial with navy blue leather strap with écru stitching; green dial with light leather strap and écru stitching; rust-colored dial with dark leather strap with écru stitching.
They are equipped with the ETA caliber 2994 beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) with a 42-hour power reserve. The cases, fitted with a screw-down case back with embossed brand logo, are water-resistant to 10 atmospheres.
