The world of precious stones should be approached with great professionalism and expertise.
The Gemological Education Certificate Institute (GECI, http://preziosamagazine.com/geci-un-settembre-ricco-di-appuntamenti) offers assistance, investing tirelessly in innovative tools and technologies, research and the continuous training of its staff in order to disseminate knowledge about gems, with the utmost respect for quality, certification and traceability.
The Institute is also making such consummate professionalism available to sector operators who will be visiting the VicenzaOro fair in January. From the 22nd to the 27th of January, the GECI will once again be lending the collaboration of its Laboratory at Hall 3, Stand 118, where it will provide a serious, dedicated and swift service for identifying and classifying diamonds, coloured gemstones and jewels, with same-day delivery of the certified gems.
All interested parties will be told about the importance of supplementing their gems and jewels with analysis reports, in order to guarantee both the seller and buyer. In addition, they will also be able to test their own knowledge of gems via an interactive quiz to assess the participants’ preparation for the current and hot topics in the world of gems and jewellery.
The event will be a wonderful opportunity to learn about the many different services that the GECI offers, the international classification standards used for compiling the reports, and, not least, to discover the wide range of offers designed to provide expertise and constant training to operators in the sector, as well as detailing all the upcoming meetings at the Institute’s headquarters in Milan.
Fabio D’Amico, the CEO of the GECI, enthuses “We are excited to confirm the presence of the GECI Gem Lab for the January instalment of VicenzaOro and wish to thank the Vicenza Trade Fair for having given us the opportunity to ensure an efficient and quality service and to uphold the essential standards of ethics, professionalism and transparency that set us apart as CIBJO* Members.”
