This is the Dinacci Brothers’ third appearance at the Monte Carlo Film Festival. Once again the legendary company from the province of Campania has connected its name to the show which is dedicated to comedy by providing sponsorship which has earned it a place in the front row. Two years ago the company director Flavio Dinacci, in addition to sponsoring the awards, presented the Yamamay swimsuit worth a million dollars, created for Miss Universe in Moscow.
This time the Dinacci Brothers, who have been specialized in the production of ‘made in Italy’ frames for three generations as well as being experts in the analysis and recovery of metals, are once again sponsoring the prizes of the Festival, which is now in its 13th year. Chaired and presented by Ezio Greggio, the event – which will take place at the Grimaldi Forum – has witnessed a long list of VIPs parading on the red carpet. Claudia Cardinale, Billy Zane, Cristiana Capotondi and Madalina Ghenea have been among the winners. Among the jurors, is the Italian director Gabriele Muccino who received the Monaco Film Festival special award, which was presented by Prince Albert of Monaco.
“It was an extraordinary experience this year – says Flavio Dinacci – I would like to thank the organization and also congratulate Ezio Greggio. At the finale of the Montecarlo Yachting Club too he showed us all his incredible skills and abilities handling, by the way, four languages and entertaining guests from all over the world.“
The celebrations had kicked off the day before at Zelo’s restaurant: in the sumptuous lounges of the establishment, an evening of fun unfolded. “I had the good fortune to meet so many people from the world of show business, such as Madalina Ghenea, who was beautiful and down-to -earth despite her growing fame, and Samantha de Grenet – continues Dinacci – and I got to spend a pleasant evening in the company of Gigi Forciniti, the owner of the Zeal’s. One of the many things that impressed me? Claudia Cardinale’s sense of humour, she’s always so beautiful and elegant. We are extremely pleased with this new contact between the goldsmith sector and the world of cinema, so we hope to support the Festival again in the coming years.“
