The gemology institute will attend the festival in September with a special service for traders
The laboratory at the service of the customer: This is the philosophy that drives the actions of GECI, an international analysis and gemology education organisation, and within which its upcoming participation at Vicenzaoro September will also fall. In fact, trade visitors at the fair can visit the stand of the Institute for gemology to obtain an analysis of stones, diamonds and jewellery and the stones will be returned the same day.
The GECI Institute is returning to the Venetian festival, as a result of the interest and approval of exhibitors and visitors at VicenzaOro during the last event in January. The Institute will provided an identification and classification service for diamonds, coloured gemstones and jewellery at stand 118 in Hall 3, the ideal setting for a meeting between supply and demand.
“We are excited to be there with our lab at VicenzaOro in September as well – says Fabio D’Amico, CEO of GECI – and we thank the Vicenza Fair for giving us the opportunity to ensure an efficient, high-quality service and maintain the criteria of ethics, professionalism and transparency that distinguish us as a CIBJO Member, without which we could not operate”.
A new opportunity seized with the desire to allow all visitors to the fair to meet and get to know the team, to bring the public closer to the expertise of a serious workshop and to open the doors to gemology. During the days of the Fair, 5 to 9 September, GECI will offer the rapid, dedicated service with the certified stones returned within the day, giving all stakeholders the opportunity to learn about the different services of the Institute, as well as the international standards used for classification and issuing of Reports.
“It is with great pleasure that we reaffirm the presence of the Laboratory at the Fair – commented Alberto Osimo, President of the Institute – because our goal is bringing people to the world of gemology and sharing the passion for gems and jewellery, a passion that unites and brings together all the traders in our industry.”
But that’s not all: Visitors to the stand of GECI will also have an opportunity to find out more about the Master in Gem & Jewellery Management that starts on 5 October. The course will prepare each student for a rewarding and successful career in the field of gems and jewellery, developing the skills and knowledge needed to meet the future challenges of the market.
